Nathaniel would like to thank everyone who attended as well as those who contributed but were not able to ride for their generous support.  He raised enough monies to pay for the plane ticket and a little spending money for while he attends.  a link will be up shorly to view photos he took.

Saddle Up for St Jude!

Saturday November 8, 2008 a Saddle Up benefit trailride event is being held at the Hidden Treasure Arabian Farm in western Lawrence county TN. By participating and donating you will Help Save Lives of children in need at the St Jude Childrens Research Hospital in Memphis TN. You will be provided at least 10 miles of trail to ride at your leisure. The trail includes many nice spots for photos. The terrain includes some hills and some woods and some creeks. For lunch it will be dogs or burgers with chips and a side and drink. If the weather is cool we will have a bonfire for marshmellows and hotdog roasting. Parking space might get a little tight so haul together if possible.  It is the law for Coggins papers to be checked so please bring a negative paper with you.  It is advised for helmets to be worn for safety as well as no smoking on the trail. (St Jude requests this).

A  great bigs THANKS to everyone who participated in the ride this year. We raised over $1000.00 for the hospital. More than 20 riders braved the cold weather and windy day to support this cause. The day began sunny but windy but as time progressed it got colder and colder. All riders seemed to appreciate the hot chili(oops) maybe  just a bit too much chili powder! I'm excited about having the ride from this location and would like for anyone to add suggestions to make  you return or come for a first time.  mailto:p_bass@bellsouth.net
